I found this Lightening Rod in very good condition, no rust, just had to
polish the copper top spear. I have coated the bottom steel rods with grey
paint, and I've built a wood base for displaying indoors. What was missing was
the glass globe, and it's adapter copper rings that center the globe onto the
spear. I was able to pick up a glass globe on , and able to purchase the
copper rings new (see last photo above). The unit stands 37" tall, it's not
one of the more common 48" or 72" units, this one is more manageable for
household display.
